First thing I ask, if they don't do at least 70 then I can't work for you period and they wonder why they can't find enough good drivers!

You definitely don't speak for everyone.
My boss needs us to deliver and set up our multimillion dollar Mobil MRI's as fast as possible.
For the record, I'm governed at 85.
I rarely travel that fast, but I will go 80 when the speed limit permits me.
So, I will correct you when you say "There are things way more important than running 70".
There are other companies out there that move things other than freight.
People's lives depend on me getting my trailer to rural hospitals that don't have both MRI technology nor PET scan technology.
So if your butt hurt that some of us travel the interstate at 70+ then maybe you need a hug from your mommy.
Btw..i appreciate all you guys out there shagging freight.
Somebody has to do it.RockinChair, Aamcotrans and BB203 Thank this. -
I-80 in Wyoming, there are stretches of the interstate that have an 80 mph posted speed limit .
When I have to pass CR England's fleet of 60 mph slugs on wheels, they are actually impeding the natural flow of traffic.
The other day I passed a CR England driver on I-80 in Wyoming on a flat.
She was putting along at a blistering 55 mph.
25 miles is a serious discrepancy in speed that I find dangerous.
Until Wyoming decides to reduce the speed limit, I will continue to travel at the posted speed limit.RustyChops41 and Dan.S Thank this. -
Wyoming and South Dakota have the best interstate speed limits imo. ND is 75, but you can get away with 5 over no problem. Montana is a drag.

Nebraska is 80 as well. Passed a trooper doing 95 in my personal truck he didn’t even look up.
You gotta be asking for it to get pulled over out there. 60 mph truck is dangerous when traffic is all going 90+.
When you can see 10 miles ahead of you on a straight road speed isn’t dangerous. Y’all need to stop sipping your companies koolaid.RustyChops41 and Indignant trucker Thank this. -
