Was drive in pa to day on 376 drove through the toll booth and saw him sitting there he turned on his lights and motion me over he walks up said it was only compliance check as for the regular registration for tractor and trailer and driver's license but before that he had asked for the quick reference for the Qualcomm (elogs). Forgot to ask him if there was CSA points with that so this is where I come to the TTR fourm for answer s from fellow drivers.

    Thanks Brian.

If you were ticketed for violating something and convicted by paying a fine or later at trial in court, CSA points are assessed I think. Someone correct me if I am wrong. These kinds of points are not for drivers to know and for the companies to know. There is a certain amount that will be assessed for all sorts of things. If you rack enough of them fast enough you might find yourself unhireable. (Uninsurable really...)

He wants to know if there is any points attached to being cited for not having the cheat sheet for elogs.
For those that don't know what it is.
Its a laminated card ( large ) that shows how to use elogs.
By the way also for those who are new to or about to be new ( lol ) to elogs you must carry a paper log book as well in case you device goes out.
To the op I don't know if there is or isn't.

I guess I've been here too long reading these type of posts. I understood what he was asking. Had to go reread it to see why it was so hard to read.

As for the question. All I could find is 395.15(b) Onboard recording device information requirements not met. That is 1 point. Do you have what the ticket is written for?
