If they did they will never get to weight before voluming out that tanker. I don't know about 53 foot tankers. All I know of is either 35, 40, 45 and 48 at most. I don't think 53 will fit well with some of the freight we put into those tankers without a third axle at minimum.

I believe that is actually the case.....tank itself is probably 48', and the extra 5 is the trailer frame.

Ok guys, this was driving me nuts, so I looked up those trailers to find out their typical length. It seems like 42' is the standard for most pneumatic dry bulk trailers with the 3 compartments as pictured.

Now I gotta get outta here and attempt to get a life and enjoy my weekend!

Thanks, man! That makes even MORE sense~! ;) I know, I gotta get a life and do something myself, as well. It's nice out, but........warmer in here, haha! I'll hate myself Monday if I'm not productive, I know the feeling.

Yes and no...the above pic is for specifically, asphalt, crude oil, and lube oil. Smooth bore, and pretty big. Don't want to leave too much heel in one of these, and get out from under it, Lol~! I pull asphalt, personally. Liquid is a bit different....more viscosity, set up different. Notice the shape of the 'liquid' transports...
