you already answered your question. the answer being you took a job that pays by the ROUTE.

and now you know WHY it pays by the route instead the hour.

Reasonably priced homes is one reason I moved there; and the cheap, high quality milk.

i have a feeling that diary is like anything else. the people that make the most are the people on top..... the people owning and running the plants. i have heard the farmers saying they dont make much, i dont believe my boss gets the biggest cut either. the whole country is flawed. there is also the cost of running that milk through a separator, refrigeration, paying for mexicans on the farm (that's right i said mexicans), staff at the milk plants, the trucks to haul it, drivers wages, ect ect..... and the overpaid management and executives of the companies processing the product.

when i worked at my last plant, the CEO came a toured the facility. he walked right past the workers (myself and my co-workers) and didnt even acknowledge any of us existed..... here is a ### making several million dollars per year and completely ignores the employees that are making his overpaid wage possible. i was disgusted by his presence and behavior. a simple handshake, and a hi im rick smith your doing a good job would have been nice. instead he was rude and arrogant. i have no use for people like that.

I wouldn't know, I am only in Vegas for as long as it takes me to get from the 93 to the 95 enroute to Reno and the windows are up the whole time. Oh and you can have Reno too for all I care.

When the landscape changes from green to brown, I'm not inclined to stick around.

That's imported German milk. I wouldn't trust it coming from so far away.
