Get all the endorsements on your cdl license, even if you may think you don't need them. Sometimes a really good job becomes available, but may require certain endorsements, such as hazmat or tanker. This way you're prepared to move quickly to take that job.

Talon runs Giant Eagle out of Bedford. All of the red tape of a union with none of the pay but you'll get home daily, probably work weekends, and I'm pretty sure they hire students. Sysco out on Grayton never pulls their now hiring sign down if youre up for a workout every day.
