Hello
As I am finishing up to start my trucking company I am running into some issues
I wanted to purchase a truck through Loan Mountain and use my dad and another driver but Loan mountain doesn’t finance to fleet instead uses drivers personal info
Obviously a driver who is w2 doesn’t want to have his credit run and all that
Any one know how I can purchase a truck for a driver?? I may even want to buy before I hire driver a week or month before.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks
Stuck on how to buy truck for driver

Try regular bank financing; some drivers do that.
Check with OOIDA, maybe they have some ideas. www.OOIDA.com is a business website for the owner-operator and small fleet owner.Steel Dragon and djmurria Thank this. -
Or are you just saying you don't have the desired back ground needed to uptain financing?Feedman and Steel Dragon Thank this. -

Not as badly as any kind of financial deal or business venture with the OP will end.
Where do these "I want to buy a truck and start a business but I have no money, no experience, and no real idea of what trucking actually involves" people come from?
Never mind, don't answer that.Toomanybikes, Feedman and driverdriver Thank this. -
I'm not sure I know how to answer your question because I'm fairly new in this business myself. I bought my truck in July of '16 and didn't really have much to get started on and I financed the whole thing just @ my local bank! People can call me stupid but trucking was in my blood after I had driven for 3 years for a local grain elevator and the pay wasn't enough there to set much aside after what I needed to live on. I had to do major engine work to it now a few months back but my banker was right there for me and we refinanced. I am determined to make it work and I believe with my whole heart it can be! But I'm an o/o. I personally couldn't see myself having to pay a driver on top of truck/trailer payments, insurance, and everything else there is.
