He may or may not but plenty of people can be great drivers and have terrible credit. Shoot some are company drivers because they don’t have credit to become owner ops

Try owner finance. From the seller. There are groups on fbook for that purpose.some good deals some with 400% markup.

You're right, I don't know how long you've been around. Enlighten us, tell us how many years you have under your belt. Tell us some of your history.
And if you've been around longer than I have or if you're older than I am...well, you're a genuine old timer.

If you want some advice, listen and loose the attitude.

Here is some advice, but I don't understand if you have the answer, why ask??

I mean it is obvious that you can have your dad and his friend work with lone mountain directly to get the trucks leased from them and have a contractual agreement with them to cover the payment and a little more to offset any other expenses, even putting into the contract you covering maintenance/expenses of the truck.

There is no conflict of interest involve by leasing the truck from the employee, and the tax issues are just a little bit more involved but of course you've got that covered by using a c/s corp.

If you think this doesn't or can't or may be won't work, it does.
