So far, that's about how it's been working. Unload then tank wash. Often it's drag a clean one back to whichever terminal you're getting your next load from. I've only had to wait at a TW for the tank to be cleaned once, but not on this trip.

Tonight I just fill out the paperwork and drop the tank. After that I'll bobtail over the a Cracker Barrel and kill time until my pick up Sunday at 0300.

This is my second week on but with a local guy. He doesn’t know much about the system. So I’ll be learning a lot from this thread. I should be going down to school sometime January because this class was booked.

Picked up the tank at Stepan in, Winder GA. It was a decent run up to Aliquippa PA. At the tank wash in Corapolis, which is 11 miles from where I unloaded.
It's busy as neck here. It's been 2 hours and the tank isn't even in the bay yet. On hourly pay now.

Hopefully I get it by 1400. That'll give me enough clock to run to a truck stop for the night. I was sent my next load last night. I load up by NY in the morning then run down to Chattanooga to unload Thur Morning.

I'll sleep near the unload point Wednesday night, so I have plenty of clock the next day. It's my last load on this 15 day outing. I'll get tank washed to Wilmington about 350 miles away while unloading. An empty tank should help get me there within my drive clock and 14 hr window.

Congrats. I'm considering starting a new thread about being a rookie in the system.

Ok, tank wash is so busy I'll be spending the night here. Looks like I'll run to Bradford PA to load in the morning and then run down to the Pilot in Burnsville WV to spend the night.

At least were getting hourly the entire time we're at the wash until the tank is cleaned.

Bradford you getting a load of oil I guess? Lots of Hills from the terminal it’s 90 miles but takes at least 2.5 hours so give yourself plenty of time

    Mortarmaggot Thanks this.

I’m on my second week as well. Headed to Illinois as soon as we are loaded. Looks like we may cross paths at school in January. @Mortarmaggot, I’ve followed this thread since the beginning. It’s been much appreciated! Also a new thread on being a rookie in the system is a great idea too.
