So if they inspect you and you claim your ELD is not operational; like yesterday Keep Truckin was, they should not fine you...but could they?
Just like they could fine you for a flat tire at a scale you just pulled in, even though, you can claim that it just happened and you did not notice it yet (sincerely).
Did anybody get inspected for ELD yet?

The enforcement is all over the place. Friend of mine is DOT officer in TX, and they have been instructed by head of TX DPS to just issue warnings no citations until April.

So how do you get the previous 8 days if your eLog is crashed........Only way I can figure is to run eLog & Paper. Is that legal? Running 2 logs? I’ve wondered about that since this mandate came about...
