Bottom line though, AUTO's SUCK to back no matter who makes them, especially in uneven tight conditions and with heavy loads.

NC Mickeys route is definitely the wiser route. It will save you time most days. On the busiest travel day of the year its a no brainer. Cruising through cornfields or sitting in bumper to bumper traffic? Your decision to make.

You already know what route I took, at least you should if you used NCs mileage. I rolled the dice. Google maps showed green all day, and the route outside indy was showing spots of orange and prayed. I made the decision 5 miles from the indy belt loop and kept a paper of NCs route plan with exits and all just in case.

Ill probably be keeping a paper copy of my route plan from now on by my side.

Also... the bunk heater in this unit doesnt work. No fan, ac, or heat. Doesnt turn on what so ever. Thought maybe the apu was off but it isnt. Looks like a cold night.

No way I would be staying in a truck with no heat. If it won’t idle, I would be getting a hotel room on Magnum’s dime.

It should idle below 40 and above 80, so I’m guessing he should be ok.
