I am in truck driving school through a state sponsored program, a great opportunity. But unfortunately I have a few marks on my record and every company I have spoken to so far has shut me down, Rohl, Swift, Knight, C.R. England. I have a misdemeanor for domestic battery, 1 year old, currently on unmonitored/un official probation and a suspended sentence. Have 3 moving violations in 3 years, 1 in the last 12 months. I really want to drive OTR, but haven't found a company willing to take me on based on my circumstances. I can wait it out till I am off probation, about 10 months. Hoping to find a second chance sooner, Drug free no Dui. Thanks for feedback.
Shut down so far

With that record do you think maybe this is not the career for you?

Yeah they don't really care about the domestic stuff it's the moving violations that are the issue.

I live in northern Nevada.
I have received call backs from companies even after reporting the moving violations, it appears to be the probation/ suspended sentence that scares off most employers. Thank you for the Feedback so far. -
