So I was looking at National Express Carriers Facebook page and saw where they had some really nice trucks. So I decided to check their DOT rating. I was shocked to see that it was conditional. So my question is, how can a trucking company with new trucks and trailers and mostly compliant drivers, still have a conditional rating?
Or is the rating old and hasn’t yet been updated?
What’s the deal with that ?
Current DOT rating

It says rating current as of 10-18-2017

A conditional rating can also be because they don’t have an actual safety department or steps towards safety. A company I used to work for got a conditional rating because of that

As you can see here, they are an Eastern European ran company. They don’t hve a safety compliance person so more than likely that’s why
