    Stopped at TA in Ohio and almost all their parking is reserved. The reason according to them is the new eld rules. They figure you have to stop so you have to pay. I don't know about the rest of you drivers out there, but, I am getting tired of being squeezed for every dollar. It's time we tell them ENOUGH.

    Does that include Petros too? They have the best food. Reserve parking is nice at 11pm and no other spots available.

    If it means not parking next to the scale or violating hos to find parking, yes I would pay everday. Just to to budget for it.

    You must be making good money to want to throw away 14 bucks a day. My point is that almost all their spots are pay only and if it keeps up you will not have a choice.

    Oh ive paid, long before there was even a ELD or any of that. 50 dollars into parking a week is nothing. Turn in the receipts to the company for reimbursement. They get to write it off to taxes.

    Hell in the NYC area Ive paid street women to keep the taggers (Grafitti) off my rig when I am parked at one of their local sub shops on a few parking meters... you will never get a receipt off them. The girls did good. Chasing the taggers away. That was a long time ago.

    Money is not the end all be all. It makes the world go around. Its apparent that the parking situation is always as bad as it was if not made worse by the ELD problem. And the lack of trip planning taking in account where you can park without having to pay or get hassled to move on.

    Well some TA s and Petro s its a lose/lose situation. You pay for reserve parking, and you still have to pay to stay unless you by X amount of fuel or X amount of dollars of stuff in store or restaurant
