That is fantastic. Seriously I congratulate you. To immigrate in approx 2004 with no CDL and have a house paid for in 2006 is an amazing feat for a doctor much less a truck driver. What does your wife do?

When we met, I saved the money for her to go to CDL school, and we put her through bankruptcy to escape a mountain of debts from her ex husband.
So, all the loans had to be in my name only for the first few years, and we both had little more than suitcases to begin with. No family help - in fact the total opposite. -
Hirschbach is The bomb I got off the phone they told me .69 gallon 800 week takes care of truck note, insurance, they have a mileage maintenance at .07 cpm they also will fix the truck if anything goes wrong. They told me I would be able to see 1000-1700wk take home. The phone got quiet then I gave her the biggest yabba dabba doo... but then she said put in app and she can get me rolling right away. I just hung up.
bzinger Thanks this. -
Is there something you don't think is legit? You don't think a lease guy can make 1000-1700? I don't know anything about that company, but the numbers seem right for a mega lease.
Pardon me if I missed took your comment and you really are happy... -
But looking back that 1000wk isn’t impressive at all giving they cover all maintenance and hotels. I talked to my buddy and he said he made 60k yr after taxes with them. He told me they were good folks. I really think it depends on the person and their life circumstances to make it being self employed. Like I said I had 379 paid for and I almost to lost everything between maintenance, fuel, low rates and getting comfortable. I hear some owner operators say a 1000 a week isn’t good but if he makes a 1000 and not owe them he’s having a good week. Think about it... -
Or maybe the training that you paid for when you arrived here 14 years ago in 2004 wasn't truck driver training? Maybe you were a underwater welder or maybe you worked in the oil fields? Or maybe you sold a 2,000,000 property in NZ and paid off your $30K mortgage and bought a house over here. I don't get it LOL.Last edited: Jan 2, 2018
