    Just to give all the info to everyone, apparently on straight pay you don't get holiday pay either? Thats what my payroll lady just told me, but big deal. $50 for what 7 holidays?

    Yup, we just get paid when we'e yankin' stuff down the road. No frills. We get fuel bonuses and quarterly 1cpm safety bonus. That's it.

    Agreed. It does matter if you have child support or looking for college assistance. Other than that, I'll pass. But, as @FalconsFan21 stated, the personal deductions are going up. So if you're doing married & joint, I'd just ask a tax professional.

    Ive always had good dealings with Marco. If Opie were to leave, Marco probably be my choice for new dispatcher.

    Not getting holiday pay is definitely not a reason to make a decision on the two. Quite honestly Ive always thought the $50 holiday pay was ridiculous. We make a hell of a lot more than $50 a day. And the $50 to me is just a way to say "hey we pay holidays" but in reality its hardly enough to even notice. Take a drivers avg miles multiplied by his cpm or just a flat $150+ to actually make it an incentive

    Regarding child support it also depends on your state and the judge. My attorney told me from the beginning that certain judges in IL will not use the per diem for truckers as a way to show lower income and lower your support. They will add it all together. But again, thats IL and they are ######## lol
