Ya things started turning around in 09. And 10 was a good year. And only got better up to 14. But had beget reached the prerecession numbers since. Even todays crazy rates we've seen in the last month aren't in line with the money that we were making before the housing collapse. Sure some are just as high, but then almost every load paid that good.

Side note. I just love the new guys that have only been in trucking a few years that think people talking about the money they used to make is nothing but stories. They think a truck grossing 7 to 10k a week is impossible, and always has been.

 

I know, but I remember when I was new and didn't know anything, and have to remind myself that I still don't know much, not compared to some of these guys.

Have to understand too that a lot of these guys just can't even wrap their heads around making hundreds of $ a day, mush less thousands. When you grow up in a low income household with a low income mentality drilled into your head all your life, Its hard to break out of that.

I've been waiting for the markets to get like this for a long time. Time to jump back out with the sharks and make some real $$$.
