After using this site for many years I've just come to accept the fact that you will get all sorts of different people in here, some friendly, some helpful, some kind, some sincere , some presumptuous, some down right rude and hurtful, while I've occasionally fell into the trap of replying and going along with their smut and trash I've just found it best to ignore their thoughtless innuendos.

Actually you pay for 13 months then for the next 13 months they pay you back. So after 26 months they paid you for the training

6 Months experience, you'd both Qualify to work at one of the expediting companies like Panther, XPO, Roadrunner.......You'd have your choice of owners to drive for as a team.....you are a hot commodity as a team so you can demand and expect better trucks and pay.......You could opt for a class b straight truck with a sleeper, automatic, and you get to choose your own loads....most owners give you a week off for every three weeks out.

This is the best company I have worked for
I also was a trainer there, before I had Surgery ,this was back before they changed the pay, I also ran solo a lot and never had a problem getting home, let me just say this company is like one big family. You can't go wrong working there solo drivers will avg.around 3000 miles a week( if you wanna work ) ,I've been thinking about making plans to return to the Best company for me ,as long as you are not complaining about running the northeast you'll make Great Money guaranteed
And if something was to happen and you needed to get home they will do there best to get you a load that way you maybe swapping a couple times to get there but you will get there guaranteed been there done that Be Safe Driver hope this Helps. Simpleman

On the way to work the other day, was behind a Panther expedite (straight truck with sleeper cab). About spit my coffee out when I saw they had a landing gear set-up BEHIND the rear axle. Learn something new every other day.

I've seen something like that setup on some low-deck flatbeds. Apparently they are used to lift/raise the deck high enough to engage with standard height docks, for delivering forklifts, scissor lifts, etc. Maybe that straight truck was a low-deck enclosed truck, and what you saw was needed to allow them to dock with standard height docks?

They use them on straight box trucks, for when a heavy forklift enters.
