    On all of them that I've been around, the valve was grounded at the trailer. I always had 12 volts running thru the switch to the plug and to the valve. I also always wired a light and a buzzer at the toggle

    yeah i moved mine but no real easy way to run a ground to the plug now.:p

    I saw a swift truck with Mexico plates.. No way in hell would i drive into mexico....

    You could ground it to the frame of the trailer and it should then ground to the truck via the fifth wheel. Year's ago every fifth wheel had a copper strap from the plate to the frame. It worked fine.

    I heard last year they bought a mexican carrier so they can move their own stuff across the borders. Didnt think they were leaving the crossing areas though.

    After 12 hours my self and 2 other Mercer drivers are finally loaded, 8 foot tarped. What a nightmare this has been. Chicagoland bound.

    Those are swift owned trucks based in the border trade zone. driven by Mexican drivers that live in Mexico, or Mexican immigrants on this side of the border. Swift and celadon are two American carriers i know of that have a mexico fleet. I'm sure some of the other megas do as well.

    Everything is up charged now that loves owns them. I bought some 5th wheel grease from them last week and it went from $8 to $11
