I didn't know they let ex lease operators keep their access to the load board?

    When did the policy change?

Or can I assume your many 'friends' that are still at Choice are telling you this?

For myself, the loads that I normally pull in the NE have seen a marginal increase, but nothing to be excited about.

And I've been home for 22 days, so I haven't been doing much searching...

    Roll on..

I've been seeing loads not get covered. A lot of it is due to the stupid transit times they've put on them. But some is a lack of trucks.

Talking to various companies, and I'm hearing about a lot of people leaving Schneider due to rates and not enough good loads.

That sums it all up right there. Why should Schneider keep less money when they broker loads to themselves when they've got many drivers happy running for $1.25? $1.25 sounds great compared to $1 mile pulling a reefer lol.

Everybody like to blame Schneider but it's really all the dummy drivers pulling the cheap freight, Schneider was probably like HEYYYY let's give them more cheap freight being ICs pull it, can't blame them for that.

Brokers don't pay more when they don't need to, Schneider is doing the same thing.
If drivers would STOP hauling loads for cheap it would be better for all drivers as a collective.

Also depends on how badly the customer needs the product. A lot of these customers use Schneider trailers as rolling warehouses. If at any time they can find someone to move it cheap they'll take advantage. If not they'll just let it sit. If the customer really needs the product and it needs to move Schneider can just up the rates.

Not all contract rates have had time to go up........

Depends on the length of the contract. And when it’s up for bid again.....

Funny how they go down while still under contract though.

Yeah you can average over $2 a mi, for like 1500 mi. I can also see grossing 6k on 4k mi, but you're gonna kill yourself running like that.
