You will. When I ran system I almost always got a dedicated load when I had a weekend off scheduled. That way they don’t have to deal with another terminal to get you home on time.

There are a bunch of them:
    N Chicago
    Plaquemine
    Jefferson City
    Kansas City
    Holland Mi
    Iowa City
    McIntosh Al
    Washington In
    Houston

They are for shore power. There is an extension cord plug outside. You plug a cord in there and they work.

I think an inverter can be wired to them as well.

You need an inverter. If you have one the high point mechanic should install it for you. I did the same exact thing when i got my mac, plugged in my laptop and didnt notice there was no power until the battery died.

Sitting here under the rack in Jefferson City. Got here yesterday at 17:45. My appointment time is 08:00 today. Last few times they have unloaded me early and I have grabbed a 10 and headed back the next morning.

This time the tanks were full so had to take my break first. Tanks still won’t hold all of it. At least I got the layover clock running and will have a fresh 14 once they get me unloaded.

How much demurrage is that going to pay you.? What would you say your average is for load/unload times?

I was 14 hours early for my appointment so any demurage starts at the appointment time. I will get to start hourly pay at the appointment time though. Since I sat 14 hours at the plant I get paid hourly for the next 10. I will also get the $20 flat rate for the first 2 hours unloading.

This place is 100% customer unload so I just watch a little tv in the truck.

As far as average load unload times it depends on the plant. Lots of the dedicated is drop and hook on 1 end. Most are under 2 hours.
