Yea i sometimes thank Schneider for helping me get into trucking and all but i would never go back. Even though i had a rep from sfi call me a few months ago asking for a survey. Like my opinion is going to matter.

 

Those surveys help, you tell them what's good and they then know where there's more profit to be found.

 

Question for departed L/Os...what was the lag time between leaving, receiving notification of funds to be returned to you, and actually receiving said funds? I know what I was told and just want to compare expectations vs. reality.

I don’t miss it yet.

Yep direct deposit.
If the 45th day falls just after payroll cutoff they try and make you wait till the next week but, if you call and remind them that means they'll be keeping it past 45 days you'll get beforehand.
At least that's what happened with me.
You also need to make sure they stopped charging you plates,permits and insurance on the correct day.
With the lack of communication at Schneider those departments don't get notified the way the should and they wind taking out an extra week of charges.
Call those departments yourself and make sure.

 

Ok, cool. Did you receive a letter in the interim informing you of the amount coming back to you?

 

No.
If you didn't check your balance on your mma you'll have to call your SFI rep if there were any repairs to the truck they will give you a copy of the repair order/ charges.
And you'll have to call you old ica to pull up your settlement and go over it with them to make sure there were no extra charges from other depts.

I was able to all of this myself cause I didn't lose access to the board for like two weeks lol and was able to check everything and make the needed calls.
I did get a little stactic from someone about a couple issues ( don't recall who)
But a call to the head of ic's in gb got everything cleared up and my money came correct.
