I’m currently in the hiring phases for both companies. However, im unsure of which I should go with. Any opinions? (I’m 23 with 0 experience)

I appreciate it! Superior sounds like a great company but the being home every night would be nice.

    They're both good companies.
Probably make more money with Estes once you get a line haul run.
Still, you'll make great money with either company.

Since you don't have experience, is Estes going to put you on their "dock to driver" program? That's a good program for newbies.

Estes offered me the dock worker and yard jockey kind of job. Then said I would go to their school in April. At which point I would still be a trainee for awhile afterwards. Then they said I would be combo local and regional. They said it’s mainly loading trucking and then delivering them. Which is probably pretty decent but I don’t really want to be a big rig doing ups/fedex style deliveries. If I’m wrong in that thinking, please correct me.

Also said, I would be doing a lot of long hours and such as a dock worker. Which I don’t mind. But they said overtime doesn’t start paying until 55 hours. I’ve always worked on salary. So I’m not sure if that’s industry norms or not.
