Why do truckers on here seem to hate CR England?

I cant find squat on it. Ttr has a thread from 2009 saying what @NavigatorWife said. But that was driver to driver talk.

I HIGHLY doubt CRE and Prime are associated with each other beyond being training, mega, 1000's trucks, etc.

I know the OP was asking a simple question. Then the thread was hijacked some. I can only speak to what has already been said. However as to the training problem across ALL of trucking, there is not nowhere near enough polish to polish that turd.

I don't get what gets these newbies so stressed out that they do something stupid... Don't get me wrong trucking can be stressful, but not that stressful.

When I first started long haul (which wasn't that long ago) I already knew how to drive and had several years of local experience. But my first otr run I had my own truck, and followed another driver halfway across the country way far from anywhere I had ever been in my life. We then parted ways at my first receiver and I was left to my own to find my way back... I had a list of dispatch orders, a GPS, a truck, a reefer, a fuel card, a cellphone, and the grey-matter God blessed me with... And I did great! I haven't had any issues or problems. Maybe its that I'm with a good company, or maybe I'm smarter than the average new hire that the megas hire... I don't know...

Just curious what is so hard that causes new guys to screw up.

Thanks for taking some of the heat off Swift. The only reason I posted was because there's a CR England truck "parked" on the side of the road a few miles from here, for only about 2 months.

I think we're generally referring to those that are totally unaccustomed to winter driving being thrown out here in a big parachute that wiggles in the middle.. wind driving.. or not knowing how to read a map and trusting GPS blindly.. getting into a tight situation and panicking bc of the sheer size of the vehicle and the lack of experience to know if it's a go or no go situation..
Knowing how to deal with and expect the sheer idiocy from the public and see it before it happens.

I think YOU are an abnormality.
Something in life had you ready, be it the military, or a good family that taught you how to be independent.

All of those things that you mentioned, except for map reading, worry me, at least a little, if not a lot.
