Why do truckers on here seem to hate CR England?

Right, and after you sign on the dotted line you’re the modern equivalent of an indentured servant working for years paying off the loan earning barely enough to survive on the road, let alone trying to keep a household running as well.

Well, when three months experience qualifies you for being a trainer...........

That practice is not exclusive to CRE. And that's a real problem, but you can't tell them that. When your "high seniority drivers" have been driving 18 months, you have to temper both your requirements and your expectations.

If they actually trained them it would be one thing.

For most drivers with 6 months experience Schneider doesn't make them go out with trainers. If you come from CR England the threshold is one year. They don't know how to shift, or log, or back without a spotter let alone use an atlas, trip plan, slide axles, secure freight, or any if the 100 other things a driver needs to be able to do.

Well let me see maybe because there in the know they've actually been there done that and can give a proper analysis of what is really happening when experienced people give advice i've always found its best to listen, however by the same token you make what ever decisions you want to, all companies pay for your training so its not like CR are doing anything special. As far as i'm concerned all companies are pretty much the same deal the only real difference being the colour of the hood.

After searching the internet for any buying or selling by Prime, I cannot find anything at all. Perhaps the thought originated on here back in 2009. I did find a mention about Prime Trailers buying another company, but they are not into logistics, just trailer sales. The mystery of life and rumors.

I don't hate anyone I don't know, but I've never met a courteous CR England driver out on the big road.

Because they are such big "squids" on the highway (slow as h*ll). Only May Trucking, or Prime Inc is slower.

With all due respect that same standard could be applied to just about every carrier in the US. Just this morning I saw an idiot steering wheel holder almost cause an accident during a left turn coming out of a fuel stop near Walmart on Jefferson blvd in Newport News Virginia. Then the big dummy just sit and blew his air horn even though it was totally all his fault.
