Waiting to see how this turns out. Proven financially irresponsible driver ushered into a lease / op situation with no skin in the game.
Good luck!

Things went to Hell real quick. The turbo just went out in the second truck. I found a guy that has the parts and says he can fix it first thing in the morning. Doesn’t sound like it will cost a lot of time but it will cost a lot of money. I was hoping to get a couple months out of it before maintenance started rolling in but it doesn’t look like I’ll get that luxury.

It’s getting worse. Guy shows up much later than promised and this turbo is much more expensive than I expected. I called around to make sure this guy wasn’t trying to screw me and it really the price he gave me. This is a huge blow. The final bill on this is going to massive. First load with this truck and it’s going to cost me a boat load.

When my turbo went out (on my ISX 2008) in LA I paid about 6 grand - it was not even dealership shop. That was turbo and actuator. In the older truck 2004 -two years earlier, the replacement was 3.5K.Misesian Thanks this. -
