Apple Music on Track to Overtake Spotify in U.S. Subscribers
I used to use free apps like pandora for music while driving. Then I became dissatisfied with commercials and repetition. Now I finally subscribed to Spotify. It’s a 30 day trial but I’m impressed. I will happily pay the monthly subscription.
My question now to you guys is about Apple Music. Is it as good as Spotify? I use an iPhone 7. Does it possibly use Apple Music better?

No it doesn’t, just the genre you want to listen to
IluvCATS Thanks this. -
Iheart radio does pretty well though. It’s a free app
-
Yeah. I used iHeartRadio and pandora and I’ve become unhappy with them. Granted they are free. But since I’ve been using Spotify I’ve played dozens of random tracks that I love. Any track you can conjure up in your memory. Any whole album. It’s amazing. Also many podcasts and audible books.
That why I was surprised to read in the article that Apple Music may be overtaking Spotify. I’m interested! -
I have tried most of them. Including Pandora’s new premium where you can get unlimited skip radio and anything on demand. I currently have Apple Music and google play music. I have both because I watch YouTube so play music i also get ad free YouTube plus YouTube music free. I get apple for half price cause my wife’s in school.
Apple has more songs available than others. They have a lot of albums others do not. I like google over all the others because 3 products for the price of 1. Google play music don’t have it then YouTube music will. YouTube music has everything.
I like apple musics radio stations. It plays a lot of music i know and don’t repeat. Googles music app plays #### I never heard of when I’m on a particular station.
I wasn’t a fan of Spotify. Pandora was good. It’s just $2 more on Apple due to streaming rights.
The rest like Napster rhapsody slacker etc it don’t have the catalogue google apple and Spotify has.
Apple will pass Spotify. They always get people on board. They already bought out carpool karaoke. Starting to do stuff like that with the music app. And most major labels are on board.
You can’t go wrong with either to be honestIluvCATS Thanks this. -
I have been using spotify premium for over three years last two of which has been the family subscription. considering my family if 5 all use the service regularly the 15 a month has been a bargain. I know nothing of apple music app the last apple product I had was an iPod classic, after using spotify my iPod became null.

I had xm and still have a satellite unit or two somewhere but I found the repetition boring as well...called it the groundhog day of music
IluvCATS and Justrucking2 Thank this. -
I pay Apple for their service, I have no comment on Spotify or any other service as I have been using Apple Music for a couple of years. I am satisfied, and cannot honestly say anything negative about the service. They have everything I like to listen to, from Dean Martin to AC-DC... I use an iPhone 8+, and stream to my Alpine CDE-HD149BT head unit in the truck. Same when I am home, stream to the stereo. I pay for the family plan, even my mother uses it.
Oh, I am an Amazon Prime member, but I rarely use their service for music, movies yes, music no. And yes, I have XM too... To repetitive.IluvCATS and Streetroddreams Thank this.
