I was like you when it came to the mystery behind the curtain, and was totally surprised at how little rigging it takes to securely hold that much glass on a trailer.

Headed to Owatonna MN with another double drop. (One of my favorite customers) Seems as though things out of Spring Hill are picking up a bit. Haven't had to sit and wait on a load out of here in a while (knock on wood)...not making killer miles yet, but steady miles none the less.

Brrrrrrrrrrr. Woke up this morning back in the deep freeze. Last 3 loads were Irving, Baton Rouge, and Houston....nice and seasonably warm. This morning in Albert Lea, below 0. Ahhhhhh the joys of being an OTR driver, mid-70's on Thursday, sub-zero on Sunday.

I had an exciting day. Finally got empty and all my gear secured just before 2 a.m. I knew the weather in Iowa was suppose to turn bad starting around 7 am, so I wanted to be in Missouri before it hit. But I got sleepy just before Des Moines, so I copped a 45 minute nap. Just past where the speed limit on I 35 south of Des Moines turns to 70, Mr. State Trooper pulls me over for a Level 3(in the dark)...passed it just fine. Then about half way to K/C, I get my next load. Spring Hill to Van Buren, AR. for tomorrow morning, but no return location. Dispatch says call him after I'm empty so we can see where they need me the most.

I almost saw the temps get above freezing today...I can't wait until hurricane season!!!!

Does that freezing temperatures effect the glass at all?
