Um is it bad if an air impact won't take out the bolt on my starter

 

Some just don't have the power to get a bolt broke loose. Also, if using truck air, you only have 110-120 psi to start out with. Use a breaker bar to get it loose, the use the air wrench.

 

Loves is trying it. They tried breaker bar no luck. Air guns no luck...

 

They are a fine thread bolt and can be buggers to get out.

Did you have them put a new starter in? How much does Loves charge hourly for work? I know I got a PM done from Speedco last night and that came out to $342, Loves is making sure they are getting money out of that acquisition.

 

Loves is $100 an hour. They said 2 hours when I signed in but with the bell housing stripped who knows now. I grabbed a starter under mercer account for $265 though lol

I'm so tired gotta be up in 7 hours and still in the shop... lovely day I tell ya. We found a ground looked decent on the outside but it broke apart. There is like nothing left on the inside. That should all be wire but it's clumped up rust
