If the check engine light is on, the engine will cut out some features to prevent it from getting screwed up.

Unless you are a mechanic and able to fix it, just get it to the dealer and have them put it on their diagnostic equipement, becuase anything else won't help you,

That is one of the big flaws of modern engines driven by computers.

The Dealers and Fleets have all the computers in the world to hook up and diagnose the issue.

TRUCXERS being professionals ARE NOT provided the tools to at least connect direct and read the #### thing. Like I do my own engine computer at home or going down the road with a OBD2 connect to reader.

AND SO. there will be a bunch of wasted money thrown just to probably tow or call out a technician with a computer to read the thing. It's disgusting.

Im not worry about the bait, it's creative. People were going to come in and help you anyway.

With all that said, it's too bad she wont crank because if the idle crap is gone, I would be celebrating.

Now I say over and over and pound the counter many times really hard, those stupid idle management crap is a weakness and not worth a couple dollars saved per night when a tow call is going to be thousands.

With that out of my system, I wonder if you shorted the battery cables across for a moment might clear the computer's fault codes and make a another go of it as it does with my vehicle?

    1. Is it full of antifreeze? Safety switch could kill it.

    2. How that DEF fluid?

    3. Oil pressure safety switch? Check your oil.

    4. Water in the fuel. It happens to me every year. Its more common than you think. Try spraying starting fluid in the intake see if it will run.

    Today is getting home day.

That's hard to take. I really hope that no start junker gets fixed. (No offense please. Im already wound up as it is. lol... durn coffee)

IF anything that motivates a driver it's going home day.

Keep us posted please. We are curious to find out what was the matter with that thing, and better yet can it be fixed so you wont be stranded again.
