In CDL School - Starter Companies are Overwhelming

Good question... they used to hire the whole state...we hired so many South Florida drivers when the economy busted that they moved the cut-off line.

I was hired before they moved the line.

 

Thanks for the quick reply. Where in Fort Myers you from? Bonita Springs here, but I currently have a Michigan Cdl and address.

Just hoping to get back to Florida again someday, it's been a year and a half since I came up here for work.

So no apu in the trucks? What about hot summer nights? How does that work out? And I'm not talking about those ones with Olivia Newton John.

 

We idle on hot nights. On cold nights we use the bunk heater. Or idle if its really cold.

Used to live off park Meadows I Ft Myers...me and Mrs Rooster split up, so now I stay in a motel and rent a car when I go home to visit my son.

Saving a ton of money... pretty good arrangement.
