Wilson Logistics owns Wil-Trans, Jim Palmer, O&S Trucking.
Prime contracts with several trucking companies to be a fleet within a fleet. I think Prime calls this Prime Advanced Fleet.

I didn't think I was correcting you. I was telling you what I knew from when I applied for Jim Palmer and my discussion with several JPT employees.

Earl Henderson was/is another Prime Advanced Fleet company.

Earl Henderson. A Henderson driver told me the original owner sold part of the company to Prime and last year Henderson re-bought that bit of the company back from Prime. Henderson was also a Prime Advanced Fleet company, or fleet within a fleet.

I worked there for a short time in 2015. I was hired on under false pretenses, I.E. their outside hired recruiter lied to me on many issues. I flew up to Missoula Montana and before the first day of orientation was over I was ready to leave.I had a meeting with the then Terminal Manager, and he was genuinely concerned over my recruitment. I told him I had specifically asked about their truck speed, on guard and other concerns. He asked me to stay and at least give them a chance. I did for 6 months but by then I was ready to leave. I refuse to drive a truck with on guard and 62 mph. On the positive side I never sat for dispatch reasons. Prime has a ton of freight. Always on the run. Quick response to trailer issues. Get rid of On Guard and go to 68 mph and I would come back. Wilsons are good people and Prime never treated me like a second class citizen.

I currently work for Jim Palmer and can answer any questions if you wanna pm me. With you living in southern CA, I'd ask the recruiter at Jim Palmer( I had Adam , he was honest and down to earth) about the western 11 dry van fleet. We have a good customer base there and can get you home. Good luck!
