Thank You. Its not done yet. I'm ordering Moto Mirrors for it. Plus I'm going to hang saddle boxes on it. Half fenders most likely also.

Do you mind sharing how much you paid for it at auction? I can see you put a lot of work into it getting it road worthy again and it looks great. You probably got it cheap.

My buddy recently sold a clean 1999 W900L for $47,500. It has an integral studio sleeper, 12.7L Detroit, 10 speed, 3:55's, 11R24.5 tires. Everything mechanical on the truck was nearly new and everything worked. It did have a motor with an unknown history that is likely due an inframe at some point.

But he'd been running it for the past 4 years and it wasn't using excessive oil or anything. Hard to believe it brought that much, which is a LOT more than he paid for it, but it is in great shape and the EOBR exempt trucks are pretty much a golden ticket these days if you have one for sale.

Your buddies truck looks good. I was looking around and long hood paccar trucks that aren't raged out are commanding big dollars.

Trucks were going as cheap as $700. The Kenworth conventionals were going from $1,000 to $10,000 depending on how much truck was there. Buying the truck hauling it back and all the work I have $36,000 in it. I probably overpaid for this truck, but everyone seems to always like the one truck I want. The truck was last on the road in 2009 and it has a factory rebuilt Detroit under the hood. So a 20 year old truck with only 11 years of service is pretty good. The truck is very tight. Time will tell.

These days, no truck is unserviceable, if most of the parts are there and it hasn’t been in a bad wreck.

If I was looking for a truck, I wouldn’t be afraid to buy one of those. Go through it end to end, have a good runner with no emissions junk and no ELD.

Second chance..... I think it might look worse... haha Price seems a little steep for how rough she is still.

I almost feel bad for who ever buys that truck from those crooks. They couldn't even be bothered to remove the auction sticker lot number off the window. To spend that kind of money for a truck with every rubber line, air bag dry rotted. Yeah they put a new hood and air cleaners on it but its rotten underneath.
