Yes, and I'm sure they run into real pricks driving as well.

I don't know about the 3 p.m. getting tired thing. That northbound checkpoint before hitting Vegas manages to work pretty hard from sunrise to moonrise sometimes.

I don't know how hard they're working these days though. Now that Nipton is open in Cali.

They also like to hit between those 2 casinos on the 93/95. But not as much. That one put me OOS for 10 on December 23. One year. I wanna say around 9 p.m.

If you are driving junk, then you need to fear the inspections. And you shouldn't be on the road to begin with.

As mentioned before on this post. Even new trucks and trailers can have something wrong. Depending on whether the cop got laid or not that morning.

The problem isn't the brick behind the counter, it's the one in front.
Have your stuff in order and put the darn cell phone away.

Drivewyze is a cell phone app. Or tablet if so preferred. Download and register name, license plate, dot#. Input credit card and you're done. I used it 9 months for the only scale i had to cross northbound and southbound. I don't have any scales to cross now. So i no longer have the service.

DOT over here are given a quote to meet. 10 trucks a day last I heard.

I think they receive there funds from the state and federal governments based on 'safety enforcement'

It's all about the money. My town doesn't have a stop light but they have have a brand new DOT officer
