Hell I drive for a mega company and been dot 3 or 4 times this year with only 1 bad one a no reverse light :/ and a dumb engine light. Guess 2 out of 3 not bad. I hope so. Never once said anything about my windshield with a 2 cracks over half way.... be nice and cool I guess

I don't know about the 3 p.m. getting tired thing. That northbound checkpoint before hitting Vegas manages to work pretty hard from sunrise to moonrise sometimes.
I don't know how hard they're working these days though. Now that Nipton is open in Cali.
They also like to hit between those 2 casinos on the 93/95. But not as much. That one put me OOS for 10 on December 23. One year. I wanna say around 9 p.m.6wheeler Thanks this. -
If you are driving junk, then you need to fear the inspections. And you shouldn't be on the road to begin with.

As mentioned before on this post. Even new trucks and trailers can have something wrong. Depending on whether the cop got laid or not that morning.

DOT over here are given a quote to meet. 10 trucks a day last I heard.
I think they receive there funds from the state and federal governments based on 'safety enforcement'
It's all about the money. My town doesn't have a stop light but they have have a brand new DOT officerDTP and HopeOverMope Thank this.
