This place was NOT for me. Micromanaged so heavily I was very uncomfortable. Hassled about the color t-shirt you wear? Really? I was so #### tired at the end of my week I had to sleep one day just to recoup. Typical day, multiple truck changes, many customers in major cities making some tanks difficult to get to, fueling , self loading, the #### camera it just all stresses me out. They will fire you for the slightest infraction. Good luck but beware.

Yah right lol. Most mechanics hate the driver they sure aren’t going to give you safety tips.

Just curious because they offered me a job when you say they was micromanaging what do you mean like telling you how to drive your route like they want you too

Will you be local or OTR. I've done both with a different tanker company and was offered local or OTR and took the OTR position.

Where I was the local guys drove the older day cabs. I had a nice sleeper unit doing OTR.
Good luck on your new job.

Don't know the specifics on Gonzales terminal. It's a ASU facility I'm almost fpcertain. Probably 23-25 an hour to start. Unsure if they are organised through the Teamsters.
Benefits will be top shelf. My terminal is a union shop and we pay $64 every week for insurance for a family. No matter if it's the wife or 10 kids,it's still the same price.
You'll be trained for a month on policy and procedures. Doesn't matter if you drove for years. You'll get your normal pay rate the whole time while training.
