I applied for a job with a company that hauled diesel fuel out to the Coal mines here in the Bowen Basin they have camera's in all their trucks as a safety precaution the cameras are only activated under heavy braking.

Heavy braking and acceleration. Ours are so sensitive that they kick on when we’re bobtailing and using the jake. Also when too heavy on the throttle. Another tattle tale device for guys who don’t drive like senior citizens.

And furthermore if your in your bunk. You will need to snap the net over yourself. Just I case a swifty is trying to back onto the spot behind you. You won't fly out of the bunk when swift slams into your trailer!!!!

Sorry to sound like the newbie that I am but which way is camera what is the camera recording? Is it like those crazy Russians that have a cam in every car and it faces forward and catches every moron that steps in front of car due to their fault or car cutting in front (and thus protecting the camera owner/driver from fake lawsuit)?

This was actually more for the companies that put a camera in the cab pointing at the driver.

Yes, there are many who do that unfortunately. That way when the slip-and-fall lawyer comes knocking with the civil lawsuit, the finger pointing can begin.
