I had a friend this weekend ask me to run a piece of equipment from Tulsa to Venice,La. It only weighed 15 lbs. He called me at 3p on Friday and said it had to be there no later than 6.30a on Saturday. He said it would pay $800.00.
My question is what is the going rate for something like this? It was roughly 1500 miles round trip.
How much would you guys charge for this type of situation?

For what we would charge that is VERY cheap.

I called an priced it, it would be $1484.82.

But if you were doing it on your own I'd say you could do it for around $1000 and make a lil money.

Depending on the size and the vehicle involved, he surely made enough at the 800.00.

Consider that the vans get about 16 mpg.

3 Bucks a mile at 750miles one way would be around well $2250 to be exact.
