:biggrin_2554: They fill out paper logs all through training as the qualcomm can break. Not sure where you get the idea that it is a baby sitter and Werner drivers are less because of a piece of paper.

As far as who to go with, which ever company fits your situation best ie, home time, miles, equipment, talk to some drivers in your area if you have the chance from each company as well. Right now it could be difficult with the job market and some areas and companies will be better than others. Good luck!

    Lilbit Thanks this.

Glad to hear............It may seem long, but I can assure you with the amount of time you get to practice it will pay off. Not only at the time you test but as you get on the road.

The students that I have had over the past year, their is a true difference of those that went to a longer school process. Those with no prior experience.

When I started I knew that I did not need to go there for I have had almost 20 years of driving dump trucks.

I see students even now every week who do not get enough time behind the wheel in school and it shows......They also get failed at testing for most of the time loosing the gear.

You will do fine and Good Luck to you.................

OK dreaman............As I stated in my post...........The people ie: students, drivers, recruiters, owners that I have spoken to about the subject.

I also never stated that Werner drivers were less becuase of a piece of paper............

Please only read the post for the face value of the english and not attempt to read any further into any unintended meaning.

Not sure what else I need to say................

    Oh yeah..................Happy Holidays

People who work for werner have a hard time moving on because they don't know how to fill out their logbook because co. uses electronic system.[/quote]

The truth is a lot of Werner drivers keep paper log anyway. If you are smart and keep your paper logs anyway is it easy to verify hrs everyday. Also other companys can see you know how to use them first hand. The Werner drivers who did not keep them only have to do a week of refresher log training with almost all companys. I do think it is funny that this guy used those words because that is what the Swift recruiter was saying. Lol. Not saying he is recruiter, but did sound like same BS.

As I stated this was information I recieved having conversations with other people. So to your response I used the language that was used to me in the conversation.
And no I am not a recruiter.........I am a trainer for the company that I work for.
    (Not Swift)
