Caterpillar Engine Serial Lookup

Guys I’ve found a 5ek that is supposed to be a factory 435hp. Can a 435 be turned up to a 550 or does it have smaller internal parts? Serial # is 5ek40977.

 

Can anyone tell me if any warranty work was done on sdp17491

 

Look like it had a dpf temp sensor back in 2012. ARD head and an air compressor in 2011.
In 2012 it shows it was rated at 475hp and 1650ftlbs
Engine could be rebuilt/deleted as it wouldn't have be done under warranty. History is too old to judge the engine. Local dealers may know more

 

Ty Ive had it since 2015 just about to cross 1.1 million just did the air compressor and fan hub recently had a water pump and lower turbo at 700k what is life of the turbos normally

 

Factory is 435. Needs injectors turbo and pistons to get to 550. Looks like it can do 475 with just a turbo and a flash.

 

No set life I have found yet. Keep clean oil in it and no dust ingestion and I have had customers that only change them on a platinum kit rebuild. The upper turbo on SDP's seems go out more frequently though.

 

How bout info on 7fb07000? Just starting on it, purchased for me and wife.
