    My company has Omnitracs.

I'm an O/O, so I also have the option of using PC when I bobtail the 3/4 mile from the lot where I park to where I pick up my loaded trailer. But I don't have to, because the ELD never trips to the drive line.

    Your days are numbered.
This is exactly why they push ELD'S.

    Relax everybody.
We're all gonna get paid more and work less.
The tougher they get,the more I make,
    The less I work.

There gonna force your companies to pay you more
For working less, just to keep the seats filled.
Then the unthinkable, trucking companies are going
To have to finally show some backbone and stand
Up to the customers and get paid for wasted time.

One day you'll make the same money running 2200
Miles a week that you did running 3000.
Your gonna have to put a tv and PlayStation back in the
Truck for all the down time.

Some of us need a toilet during our 10 hour break.

This is a simple issue to fix. The truck companies need to stand together and demand faster load/unload times or refuse to pick up/deliver to the shippers and receivers.
Yes, it would take a vast majority of truckers to do this, and they won’t, however, that is the answer.

Nope, let them keep slow poking around, the more they do, the more our rates are going up. Mine are. This spring and summer from what I am seeing and hearing it should be very profitable.

My concern if for the world economy this will affect. The price of products will have to go up to pay the truck driver which will collapse the economy the MAN has worked so hard to manipulate.

I already am! We had a big pay increase this year! I love it: no more stressing about every mile to get to my mark I set for myself: now I can do 2200 miles a still bring home a great paycheck! I’m loving the old age relaxing runs! Lol

They are not paying us that good, even with the rate increases. After 30+ years with little to nothing in increases, I would say we are still not on par with inflation.
