One of the items on the ATA wish list. Gets reintroduced from time to time. But I am a little confused. Different laws legislating maturity requirements are all over the place. 21 to drink, 18 to join the military, proposals to limit gun purchases to over 21, proposals to allow 16 years old to vote.

In Alberta, you can get Class 1 at 18. In BC its 19. We seem to have far more issues with the folks we import to drive trucks, rather than the young folks.

And I'm not trying to bash today's youth, but just look around and pay attention to their actions. Most can't take a step without looking at their phone, that's what bothers me. Age wise yes they could probably handle it, but ability to focus on the matters at hand? I question that.spyder7723 and Rollr4872 Thank this. -
Told ya......but just remember, the ATA is all about safety. What a bad, bad joke
