"Why should he? It ain’t his job to assist in a pass. If a driver can’t pass maybe he should back off. You might be an entitled snowflake but I wouldn’t call you a dick."
Now we know who was in the right lane. I don't normally reply to ignorance but the second half of your monicker compels me because the second half of your monicker.
Who would you pick?

I would back off...that's what I do going up the hills or down when heavy. I'd feel darn stupid knowing there is a funeral convoy in the making behind me. Seriously, Swifts are living up to their reputation, I can see that everyday.

There is a tremendous difference between an A Game driver and a braindead steeringwheel holder. I ask this question all the time: A driver is going down a narrow 2 lane street with cars parked on either side of the road. There's a playground and kids all over. The posted speed limit is 35mph. How fast would you go?
"Well, the posted limit is 35. I would go 35! The kids should look both ways before crossing the street!"
If you guys can't figure it out, there will be new legislature. Idiots need new laws.Toomanybikes, Dan.S, Gearjammin' Penguin and 4 others Thank this. -

I wonder what the reply's would have been if it was swift on the shoulder, either way fremillers in the wrong.

Nothing good can come from having a turtle race that no one can win just for ego purposes. As this video proves. You don’t lose any time by slowing up for 5 seconds and you keep the roads much safer.
Just like when you’re raising kids someone has to be the adult- when you’re driving these trucks someone has to be the professional. All 3 where wrong.kw107, Toomanybikes, sevenmph and 6 others Thank this. -
I am sure it is their poor and inadequate training. Mostly likely they are trained by trainers who themselves need more training and lack of knowledge and enough indoctrination of unwritten road rules, such as: don't impede the traffic behind you... What does it take to be a Swift trainer? 6 months OTR experience?

You can't fix stupid and in a governed truck you can't pass it except uphill and only if the downhill isn't too fast or vice versa?
Toomanybikes Thanks this. -
You have a Swift truck passing another Swift truck and a Swiftie refusing to be courteous to a fellow Swiftie. Did he know the truck that was attempting to pass was a Swiftie? Oh, absolutely. All he had to do was back out 1 mph.
"But Six, why should he back out when it was the other truck that was attempting to pass but could not? Why cant he just drive and mind his own business..."
As if he were the only person on the road? Was he the only person on the road? If you are not the only person on the road, wouldnt it stand to reason that you cannot drive as if you are the only person on the road? Are you guys (not you personally, Mr Finfn1372) really that stupid that you cant figure out that since you are not the only person on the road that you cannot drive 'minding your own business, to hell with the next guy'?
Can you guys imagine the legislation that will come for you nondriving morons who cant seem to figure out how to share the road? Wanna do a "what if"? What if the fine for elephant racing (where it takes two slow trucks more than a mile to pass one another), was $1000 for the loser? How fast would you back out and allow someone else to pass? It should never get to that point, but you know it will! And yet, you guys bellyache and moan about how awful trucking is. If you'are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. Six back quiet.Dale thompson, DannyB, QuietStorm and 7 others Thank this. -
I'm staying out of this one
