Repower was supposed to be here an hour ago... so that's nice

Edit: Make that two-one-half hours ago...

 

Camped out at Foristell TA for now. I'll head in to the airport early in the morning to unload and reload.

 

Weather here still crappy so I haven't looked at the truck.

Went to town with mama....property taxes paid.... Spent three bennies at the grocery store....dust control order (pretty sure I could have paved the county road in front of the house for what I've spent on dust control the last 29 years).

Stopped and had a chat with the insurance company.....pretty sure it'll be another year at least before we get mama's accident last year settled. Showed them the paperwork we've been receiving and they sent it on to corporate.

 

Repowered the northeaster. Walked across the way to a Shoneys. Currently getting my grub on.

Apparently truck is gonna get towed to Tulsa. So...... that's surely interesting.

 

Are you going with it??

 

It's ok. I didn't want to deliver today anyway.

 

Honestly what is heavy wrecker etiquette in this case? Driver rides with...?

I mean, I can see it for a spin across town to the dealership from your broken truck in a truck stop. But we're talking about Tulsa from Knoxville... that's 700+ odd some miles that I'd be in the ##### seat... I have no idea what the intentions are.

I'm all for renting a car and getting reimbursed. But it's gonna come down to what corporate wants. Eh, as long as I'm in something else by the weeks end...
