New high security drivers license

Florida stared that about 10 yrs ago. You get this little star and some security feature that's supposed to show you proved who you are.

Still worthless because no one else recognizes it. You still need proof of residence and other BS to renew the registration for your truck.

Useless.

Utah has never given hard copy. Only paper. And wait for mail.

The new security thing has been a couple years in the works. It was talked about as a possibility on the road dog channel some time back.

 

Great. Yet another level of ‘security ‘ .

If I had a dollar for every time I’d been photographed, fingerprinted, and background checked in the last 14 years . . .

I’d have about $30.

 

Background check. I average those about 2 a week. Military or port, entry.

The higher security drivers license, got it last time I renewed. License good for 8 years. Still need twic and sometimes birth certificate.

 

Big change coming to Ohio drivers' licenses

 

in Los Angeles at MacArthur Park you can buy a driver license with all high security features on it...lol

 

I noticed ohio says licenses good for 4 years. Screws up hazmat fingerprints which is 5 years.

 

Ahhh Ohio, let us help take the stress out of driving...haha haha

 

I sometimes haul jet fuel to Eglin Air Force base. They stopped accepting TWIC cards sometime ago. To much corruption.
They just do a background check on your license to gain entry.
