So you're the one I see out there on the side of the road throwing snow chains dressed the same as me, shorts and short sleeves?

I don't know. Some English ancestry that I know of, and German, Russian, plenty of cooler climates at least.

Ive spent half a day unloading frozen product into the cold storage in just jeans cutoff, shoes, a bit of socks and a tee shirt so I wont wring myself sopping wet in sweat with this hard work in -20

Justs takes a few thousand calories to burn as heat and work plus hydration.

Been there done that so many times when young. Past 50 I'll be dead in a hour from a heart related or stress problem due to that kind of cold. It wont be a painful death. The life would just freeze and stop no matter how big and strong I am when it's cold enough long enough.

I found the same thing. I'm waking up with a headache and nose bleed. The air in the truck is soo dry and no fresh air it's just really circulated around and around. I open one of the vents and have a small humidifier. Made ALL the difference.

    417bigK and TallJoe Thank this.

Personally, I've been told I'm mostly Irish/German/Scottish. I need to try one of those Ancestry DNA kit doodads though sometime. My luck, I'm like half French or some s*** like that. Lol.

I used to love cold storage/freezers in places I've worked. I worked at a grocery store and I was the only one who'd willingly go out in rain and cold to collect carts. I preferred things like that to dealing with people. Lol.
