    Wow, if he's going back and forth between the short and long haul rules, that sounds like it could be a pain in the butt at times. He's lucky to have you for some assistance with this crap!

    He's never really used the PC since we got the ELD. The other day he was in violation by 16 seconds on his 12 hours. :mad: That is whey we went to the scale and asked them.

    It is tough juggling both cycle rules on this thing.

    They just did an update, and now if he is over on the 12, it automatically changes over to the 70 cycle. Then, your in violation of the 30 minute break.

    When we showed the guys at the scale the 16 second violation, they kind if laughed, but I can see where it could work into a half an hour.

    Ahh, now I see what you are doing. You are using the ELD in place of the time record at the terminal for continuity of the record on the days he runs outside of the exception. Good idea. Combine that with the bobtail, and I will modify my opinion to say that PC is fine. I should have asked for clarification before issuing a blanket statement.

    Carry on, you are spot on as usual. Good to see you back on here, I hadn't seen anything from you in a while.

    SP(Silent Passenger) Logbook. A complete waste of an app. Too many issues with it crashing, connectivity and being a complete data hog. My employer wanted us to use this because it was way cheaper than other ELDs, You get what you pay for. They are currently looking at alternatives to this complete and utter waste of time.
