I'd avoid orange. Don't give em ideas. But as long as you change clothes, the bears won't recognize you, and quickly forget they hate you. PlayStation taught me that.

Im not sure you have the gears to hold 98. You probably do. It's not my forte.

Just check and make sure your 80 limit falls right about or slightly redlined beyond your high horse RPM. What you don't want is to cause the truck to fall down at 80 in top gear unable to stay in it and have too much next gear down redlined unable to hold 70 or whatever it is. I had a company casterate my favorite 126 mph tractor to 60 and the result with that rockwell 9 was a constant sawing of the two top gears in Ohio all day. Not enough in 8th and too little in 9th. Nice little punishment I would say.

Anyhow. Give yourself some room to get up and run, she'll do it for you. But split the difference. Make it 85 or so.

I have a feeling if you are told to slow that thing down to stay on your company lease, you will not be making your old appointment times until dispatch adjusts it. So expect a few late loads until then.

These days if anyone is late with a 80 mph truck across country, I'll eat my boots.

No,not good imo.You don't have to drive 99 but it's nice to have it.
I don't know what the previous truck I drove was governed at as I never bothered to download the application to check it but last number on speedo was 85 and the needle was going past that.
So ,when you can use that? Say you are driving at night on some rural road in Georgia and some flatbedder in a cool looking classic wants to show this reefer company schmuck (you) how slow you are. That's when you use it.

This guy gets it. Popping in for a quick paint job is the easiest way though.
