Was discussing the OP. Don't know anything good or bad about Fitzgerald personally.

 

I’ve driven 3 different gliders from Fitz (company trucks) all 3 were blowing oil before 300k miles.
Previous company I drove for bought 3 brand new, 2 of the 3 were rebuilt before 400k miles.

Former boss man said “there are only 2 times that you can get Fitzgerald on the phone, when you are thinking of buying, and when you are arranging payment”..
Current ride is a Fitz glider with a N14 it’s blowing oil and leaking oil with 314k on it.
The only good thing about it is I’m elog exempt other than that I’m not impressed.

Forget Fitzgerald spend your money elsewhere.

 

Come on people. You know good and well, if he posted this years ago, you'd be telling him "you don't know what you're talking about. Come here in a few years when you know for sure"

The thing is the OP has 3 posts so far,which takes him out of the one post wonder territory. Not that it makes much difference anyway, since the glider market will be dead by 2021.

 

He started two bash Fitzgerald threads .

 

Only way I would buy a glider from Fitzgerald is with a Cat frim Thompson.

 

He's not lying they're putting Chinese Parts in the motors. I can't get American made anymore and now they're pretty cheap Chinese rebuild kits he is right stay away two buddies of mine with Fitzgerald cats. We're blown be for 200,000 miles

 

They seem to have made quite a reputation in the glider market. I've seen the advertisements here and there. Their prices are outrageous. And now apparently the work is not the best. A person might as well buy a fresh off the assembly line new truck, along with all the headaches, before giving Fitzgerald a premium for a poorly built truck.

 

That’s what happens when you use cheap Chinese knock off parts.
