I'm sure every used PACCAR truck has had at least one engine rebuild.

Talked to a driver that's been in a T680 for 2 years now. He said 6 months of that time it's been in the shop. He had just put it in the shop yet again for engine problems and kenworth told him "2 weeks to 2 months" repair time. Needless to say it's probably a good idea to avoid the KW dealership in Mokena, IL.

Larry has actually had fairly good luck with his 680. It's been in the shop twice for Def problems, and his coolant tank level sensor crapped out once shutting the truck down. Oh, and it eats steer tires like a mother, though he's had it aligned several times. He's got about 650,000 miles on his now, but he might have gotten relatively lucky with it so far. Then again, he does tend to ignore the check engine light until the thing won't run.
