Owner operator accomplished load as agreed in rate confirmation, can the broker pay less then the rate confirmation states?

Was it on the bottom of confirmation in small print something about how much you have to load?
Once i did load of potato from Idaho. Confirmation said 860 cases at least what is 43000. Was loaded 44000 but in 830 cases. They underpay me and Idaho potato shippers will never see my trailer again.

Brokers won't compensate for an extra thousand pounds most of the time. It would have to be a significant wieght difference. How much less did the broker pay as opposed to the agreed rate?

Depends on what your contract says. Not only the rate confirmation, but the broker packet too.
If they truly are trying to underpay you, when the full payment is 1 day late (like if you are on a NET90, on day 91) file on their bond. That's why it's there.

    xsetra Thanks this.

No. Broker has to pay agreed terms. Time and amount.
    File on their bond.

It was something $180.00 or so. My scale tickets empty and loaded didn't change anything in broker desicion because it was in tiny print on the bottom of the rate. It was actually my mistake to agree without reading everything. Lesson learned.

    xsetra and bryan21384 Thank this.

Let's have the name of the broker, so we know to look out for this.

Read your contract. It's not the broker, it's the addendums.
