Yea for those of us just starting long days is what it takes to get going. I just stopped 3 miles from where I unload in the morning, I'm 30 miles from home and I woke up in Tulsa this morning, that's 600 and some odd miles down two lanes all day long, and I don't think I'm over on my hours. Too bad I'm not tired yet.

Not exactly. The rules were made disguised as safety. But you lift the mask and will see power, control, greed, and just plain ol stupidity.

You folks are pounding your chest about getting paid for waiting, to bad you gave them 2 hours for free more than likely then start getting paid chump change.. $12 -$20. And we wonder why this industry sucks now and so many eld cheerleaders. . I’m a O/O and still stuck giving 2 hours for free most of the time due to it being a “industry standard”.. add in the 2 free hours and whatever I get to bill for my time after and plenty more money driving.. We need to dump the 14hr rule.. I’m sorry a lot of you are lazy and got into trucking as a lifestyle.. some of us want to get it done, get paid and go home to momma..

Yea if you can't do a few 16 to 18 hour days in a week you need an office job not truck driving.
